Last week we focused on making AmpliFlow clearer, faster to use, and more consistent. You’ll see clearer required-field indicators, cleaner previews, better image handling on Improvements, and safeguards that prevent empty submissions. We also set smarter defaults to reduce clicks when creating new Improvements.
New features
- Thumbnail images on Improvement page: Images now appear as small thumbnails so pages load faster and are easier to scan. You can still view full images when needed.
- Smarter default for new Improvement Severity Grading: The category defaults to Other/Not sure, helping you start faster if you’re unsure where your Improvement fits.
Improvements
- Clearer required fields: The “required” marking is now shown consistently across the app so you always know what’s needed before you submit.
- More readable dropdowns and buttons: Disabled dropdowns are visually distinct, dropdown menus no longer use all caps, and preview buttons have simplified sizing for better readability.
- Easier filtering: The Archived filter is now a simple toggle, making it quicker to include or exclude archived items.
- Activity editor polish: When deleting activities in a template, spacing and controls are tidied up to avoid layout crowding and reduce distraction.
- General UI stability: Under-the-hood updates to our popover menus improve positioning and reliability across different screens and browsers.
Fixed bugs
- Prevent empty Improvement messages: You can no longer submit an Improvement with only spaces in the main message, ensuring every submission contains meaningful content.
- Step error styling: Borders in steps now display correctly in error states, improving visibility of what needs attention.
- Preview selection visuals: Selection elements in preview mode no longer appear interactive, reducing misclicks and confusion.
- Checkbox display in markdown: Checkboxes render properly inside markdown content for clearer reading and interaction.
