Release Notes 2025-10-20 to 2025-10-26

Published
October 26, 2025

Last week’s updates to AmpliFlow focused on making reports clearer, training plans easier to manage, and everyday workflows smoother by removing unnecessary prompts and fixing edge-case issues that disrupted navigation and text editing.

New features / Improvements

  • Show training plans users with avatars: Quickly find who needs training using a visual avatar selector instead of long name lists
  • The app no longer asks you to “Finalize step” once all activities are completed, removing extra clicks and simplifying progress tracking
  • Report PDF experience updates: We improved the PDF template and preview experience to make it clearer and more consistent with what you see in reports. This includes clearer dummy data labeling in previews, more intuitive step handling in the UI, and improved default footer content for generated PDFs. These changes aim to reduce confusion and produce cleaner documents

Fixed bugs

  • Reliable page redirects with saved filters: Links that include *.com/ now keep your filters and other settings when redirecting, so you don’t lose your context
  • Text input won’t auto‑format on locked steps: Rich text fields stop pushing changes when a step is locked or inputs are disabled, preventing unintended edits and formatting changes

Release Notes 2025-10-13 to 2025-10-19

Published
October 19, 2025

Last week we focused on small but high-impact usability improvements in AmpliFlow. You will notice faster workflows when starting common tasks, more reliable behavior when editing Improvements, and a clearer, ready-to-print layout for Improvement details. We also made layout adjustments to ensure consistent page sizing across different browsers.

New features / Improvements

  • Added auto-focus to search fields and first required fields: When you open common lists and forms (such as Checklists, Tasks, Improvements, Pages, Goals, KPI, Customers, Suppliers, Users, Teams, Equipment, and more), the cursor now starts in the search box or the first required field. This reduces clicks and speeds up starting new work or filtering lists. New forms that already supported auto-focus now default to using it.
  • Improved printing for Improvements: You can now print Improvement details directly from the Improvement view using a new Print button. Printed pages use cleaner layouts, hide elements not needed on paper, and include better titles and date range formatting for clear, professional printouts.
  • More consistent layouts across browsers: We added fallbacks for certain sizing behaviors so pages stretch correctly in different browsers, improving visual consistency.

Fixed bugs

  • Stability improvements to Improvement workflows: We updated our tests and behavior to ensure Improvement actions work more reliably.

Release Notes 2025-10-06 to 2025-10-12

October 12, 2025

Last week we focused on making AmpliFlow easier to read, write, and manage. You can now format rich text in Text activities, quickly spot high‑priority stakeholders with clear color cues, control access to the Pages feature from tenant settings, and more easily identify improvement emails in your inbox. We also fixed an issue where the cursor jumped to the end while editing rich text and made several small UI polish improvements.

New features / Improvements

  • Rich text editing for Text activities: Write and format content with headings, bold/italic, lists, and more directly in Text activity fields.
  • Clear color-coding for stakeholder level of interest: See each stakeholder’s interest level at a glance with consistent colored badges and an easier, visual selector when editing.
  • Pages feature toggle in tenant settings: Tenant admins can turn the Pages feature on or off and manage permissions directly from the Features tab.
  • Easier-to-scan improvement emails: Email subjects now include the improvement number (for example, “Improvement #123 updated to ‘Closed’”) so you can quickly identify what changed.
  • Small UI polish: Better alignment for important activity numbers in Process Steps, more reliable Save button visibility in markdown source mode, improved table spacing, and more forgiving date typing formats.

Fixed bugs

  • Stable cursor position in rich text fields: The cursor no longer jumps to the end while editing; typing is smooth and predictable.

October 5, 2025

Last week’s updates to AmpliFlow focus on clearer user visuals, easier content recovery when formatting breaks, and smoother performance in checklist searches and date selection. Several long-standing usability issues were addressed to reduce errors and improve everyday workflows.

New features / Improvements

  • Clearer user initials in avatars: Names with hyphens or extra descriptions now generate up to three intuitive initials (for example, Eva-Lotta Olsson becomes ELO).
  • Fix formatting issues directly in rich text fields: If a rich text field fails due to a formatting error, you can now switch to source view and correct it yourself without waiting for backend fixes.
  • Faster checklist report searches in automated checks: We refined how searches are performed in our validation flows, helping keep the application responsive and reliable under load.
  • More reliable date selection: We resolved issues introduced by a date picker update.

Fixed bugs

  • Addressed an error that could appear when editing checklists.
  • Commenting on stopped checklists: You can now add comments to stopped checklists.
  • Comment box wrapping: Long text in comment boxes now wraps correctly and stays within its container.

  • You can now upload multiple description images to an activity by using the RTF editor.
  • Team save reliability: If saving a team fails once, you can try again and save without starting over.
  • iOS add-team action: Adding a team while editing a checklist step now works correctly on iOS devices.

Last week we focused on making AmpliFlow clearer, faster to use, and more consistent. You’ll see clearer required-field indicators, cleaner previews, better image handling on Improvements, and safeguards that prevent empty submissions. We also set smarter defaults to reduce clicks when creating new Improvements.

New features

  • Thumbnail images on Improvement page: Images now appear as small thumbnails so pages load faster and are easier to scan. You can still view full images when needed.
  • Smarter default for new Improvement Severity Grading: The category defaults to Other/Not sure, helping you start faster if you’re unsure where your Improvement fits.

Improvements

  • Clearer required fields: The “required” marking is now shown consistently across the app so you always know what’s needed before you submit.
  • More readable dropdowns and buttons: Disabled dropdowns are visually distinct, dropdown menus no longer use all caps, and preview buttons have simplified sizing for better readability.
  • Easier filtering: The Archived filter is now a simple toggle, making it quicker to include or exclude archived items.
  • Activity editor polish: When deleting activities in a template, spacing and controls are tidied up to avoid layout crowding and reduce distraction.
  • General UI stability: Under-the-hood updates to our popover menus improve positioning and reliability across different screens and browsers.

Fixed bugs

  • Prevent empty Improvement messages: You can no longer submit an Improvement with only spaces in the main message, ensuring every submission contains meaningful content.
  • Step error styling: Borders in steps now display correctly in error states, improving visibility of what needs attention.
  • Preview selection visuals: Selection elements in preview mode no longer appear interactive, reducing misclicks and confusion.
  • Checkbox display in markdown: Checkboxes render properly inside markdown content for clearer reading and interaction.
