So glad you're here! You have ended up here because we have moved everything related to management systems and ISO certification from Cognite to AmpliFlow. The reason is simple: to clarify our offers and make it easier for you as a customer.
To import a customer record from your ERP system (or the location where you store your customer information) into AmpliFlow, follow these steps:
1. Export the customer register
Open excel template (download here) and look through which columns can be imported, ie the row with the green columns. The first row of blue columns is just a grouping and does not affect the import itself, but is just a way of clarifying which information ends up where.
Decide which columns you want to import into AmpliFlow, as a minimum the customer's company name needs to be imported, other data is optional.
Go to your ERP system and export the customer register to an Excel file or CSV file. You just need to export the data that you want to import into AmpliFlow. If you have the option to choose the order in which the information should be placed, arrange it by the columns of the excel template.
2. Customize Excel file
Open the exported file in Excel.
Make sure to get the columns that you want to import into AmpliFlow in exactly the right order according to the excel template.
If necessary, process the data so that you get to a mode where the information you want to import is located in the excel template.
Check that all relevant customer information is included, the only thing that is mandatory is the company name. Other columns are optional, you can choose not to import these and instead refer to.
Save the file when it is fully adjusted.
3. Open the customer register in AmpliFlow
Log in to AmpliFlow.
Navigate to “Customers”.
4. Import data
Click “Import”.
In the dialog box that appears, select the cell at the top left.
Open your Excel file, select all rows of data (including headers) and copy (Ctrl + C).
Go back to AmpliFlow and paste (Ctrl + V) into the grid view.
5. Complete the import
Check that the information is displayed correctly in the grid.
Click “Save” to complete the import.
Your customer registry is now updated in AmpliFlow! 🚀
